A Process of manufacturing by upgradation of Indian Buffalo wet blue split leather to value added leather product the said process comprises. the following steps. a. Drumming by treating the W /B with water and chemicals depending on the process. b. Mechanical operations by setting so as to remove water and flattening the pieces. c. Hooking dry the leather. d. Vacuum Drying of Leather e. Mollissa for softening the leather. f. Buffing the leather surface smooth. The Checkpoint is buffing paper and pressure adjustment. g. Spray / Padding put the binder in leather surface, the checkpoints are pressure and temperature wherein. Binder should be uniformly sprayed. h. Filling the surface imperfection with a resin paste. i. Platting the surface smooth & nice. The checkpoints are pressure and temperature. j. Buffing the surface fine, the checkpoints are Buffing paper and pressure. k. "Finishing" the crust leather by the Indirect transfer finishing process check points. i. number of coating. vii. type of aliphatic / aromatic single and two component polyurethane used for finishing. viii. the thickness of the finishing film. ix. Time and Temperature used for curing the flim. x.Method of rolling the composite of split crust,PU flim and the release paper to ensure uniform tightness. xi.Curing the composite in the roll form , both time and temperature are important.
